ParagoAgent

Tracking the software and hardware on each computer can be a monotonous and time consuming task. ParagoAgent quickly and efficiently scans all the organisation's computers and automatically adds the details to your Parago Account.

ParagoAgent can be deployed to suit an organisation's individual needs. It can run once to capture the current infrastructure or it can be set to scan as often as required. Many Parago customers set the Agent to rescan every 24 hours to keep their infrastructure completely up-to-date. This is essential to ensure that unauthorised software installations on & offsite are highlighted.

Installation

The ability to deploy ParagoAgent via a netowrk greatly increases the efficiency of organisations. It allows administrators to quickly obtain detailed information about the software and hardware on computers and assists when dealing with hundreds of pieces of ICT equipment which may be over multiple sites.

Features include:

• Accurately detect core hardware components
• Discover installed software
• Direct or batched upload (ideal for computers that are not connected to the internet)
• Full proxy support
• There are three modes of operation:
  • Manual
  • Installed - ParagoAgent will run daily (or at any predetermined interval)
  • Network-deployed - ParagoAgent will run whenever a user logs in but no more than once every day
• Data is only uploaded if the configuration has changed since the last execution
