Reports and Analysis
Parago reports provide a record of all assets stored within the system. When detailed with the correct administrative information accurate forecasts can be produced for future budgets. As an example, a report on an asset can detail the full specification including asset ID and serial numbers.
Reports can also be produced on all installed software on PCs and data from the Licence Manager enabling the tracking of installed copies against licences and expiry dates.
In addition, the administrative information behind school assets can be used to produce accurate procurement forecasts. For example, schools can customise reports to forecast all assets needing replacement for the next three years, and the likely costs. But if details are entered on warranty expiry then schools can budget for contingency funds should the item become faulty.
Reports are split into three categories:
- General – asset list, computers, white boards, peripherals
- Networking – network long, network short
- Non-IT assets report, sports equipment, furniture
Software licence reports allow the user to track the number of installed copies of software on the school ICT system. This can then be compared with the school’s licenced entitlement.
These reports are split into two categories:
- General – list of software
- Licences – licence report
Reports can be customised to allow the user to view the specific data that they require. Reports can be viewed on a web browser, printed or exported to CSV format. Parago schools find this useful if the data needs to be put into a spreadsheet or database (for example, an audit).
