This summer saw resellers Levett Consultancy and European Electronique take off with Parago. Levett Consultancy now have 27 Parago installations across London, having only signed up as an authorised reseller in January 2011. They are conducting eight asset discovery services during the summer break, and case studies are coming through fast from schools full of praise. European Electronique signed up as a reseller in June and had their first two sales to schools in July.

Parago is a low cost solution that enables the reseller to maximise its profits with discovery and audit services. Schools recognise the need for an effective asset management solution, but often do not have the time to conduct the initial asset discovery. With the new phone apps linking to the Parago central system asset discovery and auditing services are made even easier. The iPad 2 and Android tablets also make a great discovery tool. This is because the auditor can combine multiple pictures of room layouts to help with insurance claims, and scan barcodes of electrical items. The discovery and audit service can also combine PAT testing where the qualified technician updates Parago with the testing results, keeping all asset information in one solution.
