Asset Discovery Service

The onsite service includes…

  • Set up of school layout and users
  • Three photos of each room that contain assets for insurance purposes. These are attached to the room icon.
  • The adding of assets to each room by icon — normally a minimum value is set, although we recommend all electrical items
  • The option to barcode electrical items. Recommended but not mandatory
  • Matching asset icon to barcode and placing in room with Parago Mobile
  • Individual photo of any valuable asset, and attached to the asset icon.
  • Adding of basic data behind each asset. We recommend supplier, cost or current replacement value, purchase and replacement dates.
  • An overview of the system before departure including setting up users and reports

We leave the school with a fully functioning asset management system, which they can update when they receive new assets. We must have a member of staff accompany us during the visit. The auditor will have an iPhone and laptop for the service.

We can add around 500 assets in a day, dependent on the accessibility and the quantity of items requiring bar codes. Furniture such as chairs and tables are added using icons. A wireless connection within the areas we are working will speed up the process.

We can also deploy the discovery agent across an organisations network and individual PCs. The auditors can set up your license manager and implement the metering feature to the required software titles. The auditor will require a person with knowledge of the organisations network, and details of the software licenses.

Annual Asset Auditing Service

The onsite service includes…

  • Checking each room has the assets as per the system
  • Scanning barcodes in audit mode with Parago Mobile which identifies if the asset has moved location, and then moves the asset within the system
  • Moving, deleting, and adding new assets identified during audit
  • Updating pictures of rooms if changes have occurred
  • Updating data on any asset
  • Review of audit and system updates with member of staff

Software Asset Management Service

We also provide a SAM service which includes…

  • Discovery of installed software on all PCs and laptops
  • Move all licensed software to the Software License Manager
  • Add license details to each title — paperwork required from customer
  • Initiate software metering to required titles
  • Report on initial over/under licensing
  • Handover and training to customer
